Thanks for a quick response.
No, I am not a novice (just in too much of a hurry
yesterday) - I have 15 years experience in Operating
system design and implementation - UNIX and
proprietary systems (GEMSOS).
I tried to keep the language and description of the
problems very simple.
My first mistake - I was in a hurry yesterday - not
good.
My 2nd mistake - hadn't installed the crypto
distribution.
After installing the crypto distribution I was unable
to get the libcrypto.a library built.
I reran src/configure and then reran make - now
libcrypto.a is present in src/lib.
Now everything seems OK. My congratulations on your
configure and Makefiles.
Now for the real meat and potatoes - can your version
V tools interact correctly with my DCE version V
environment?
I assume I may have to modify the makefile of the
telnetd to use the DCE kerberos V libraries. Any
thoughts or experience with that process?
