Hi,
I'm trying to use the above kerberos V software to provide an
authentication scheme for our dial in service which is going to use a
Xyplex terminal server box that talks kerberos4 or kerberos 5.
I think I've set up the xyplex side of things correctly, but I'm having a
few problems with the server side of things.
1). The docn has large bits missing is there an updated version?
2). I've got the krb5kdc up and running and I've added myself as a user
which seems o.k. I've also added an entry for the xyplex box as a host
(ark zyplex1.dialup.hull.ac.uk) but whenever I try and access the box
from the xyplex box it prompts me for a userid and then tells me there is
a failure.
q). assuming that the kerberos server runs on the same box as the
krb5kdc daemon (solaris 2.4) what other configs /daemons do I have to
have running ?
q). When I start up krb5kdc I get tood that the secondary port is already
allocated, but I can't see anything that has reserver anything even near
the kerberos port numbers in the service file
Any help would be appreciated
