   If you want to toss things onto the mythical someday queue, can I
   suggest a real-time propagation mechanism...

OpenVision's kprop/d already supports this, as does CyberSAFE's I
believe; others too, probably.

It turns out not to be a very hard problem because you can still
assume that all writes occur at the master, so you do not need real db
technology to make it work.  I roughly described our design on this
list several months ago.
