If you want to toss things onto the mythical someday queue, can I suggest a
real-time propagation mechanism such that when something changes on the master
the change is propagated immediately to the slave if the slave is up, else
enqueued to be transmitted later, and if the slave is down for over some period
of time, the slave simple picks up a fresh database, and that slave's queue is
flushed.

Of course, I haven't had time to work on it, and I'm not even going to think
about it again until after the next beta version.
