there are copies in the krb5 tree for historical reasons. They're not used
when we build the sources. they're not distributed from there to other sites.
I don't manage athena-dist, so I can't put tidy distributions of these pieces
onto athena-dist. those who do manage it have been repeatedly prodded to make
such a distribution, and I've given up trying.
So, I take the sources from the athena source pool, put them into separate
subdirs in the v5alpha distribution area, and keep hoping that someone will
DTRT with the distribution.
I've stopped losing sleep about it, and I suggest you do the same.
