Greetings

I'm having some problems with master --> slave database propagation under
Kerberos 5. Hopefully, someone will be able to identify what I'm doing wrong.

I've got the /etc/services and /etc/inetd configured on both hosts correctly,
i.e. the slave does have a kpropd which will answer on port 754.

I added the host/master@realm on the master and extracted it to it's
/etc/v5srvtab and added the host/slave@realm on the slave and extracted it
also.

I extracted the database from the master to /krb5/slave_datatrans.

I ran:

# /krb5/sbin/kprop slave-host
/krb5/sbin/kprop: ASN.1 structure is missing a required field while encoding
database size
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
#

However...on the slave end, if I check the debug logs:

Apr 2 13:24:40 slave syslog: Connection from master
Apr 2 13:24:40 slave syslog: Rejected connection from unauthorized principal
host/master@realm

My question is: Is there a problem with my kprop binary or am I doing
something wrong with the principal authorization?

Thanks in advance
-tim

btw: It probably doesn't matter too much, but both machines are Alpha 2100s
running Digital UNIX 3.2d
