Kerberos 5 Beta 5 Problem on SunOS 4.1.4

I apologize in advance for a possibly stupid question, but I am
having great difficulty in getting Kerberos V5 Beta 5 to work correctly
on my SunOS 4.1.4 system. It compiles and runs, and kinit on the host will
access the database, however I get an error message when my kerberos
client (a Xyplex 9000 720 Terminal Server) accesses it. The error message
is specifically;
krb5kdc[15991]: ASN.1 failed call to system time library while dispatching
Does anyone know what this is, or has anyone ran into this before?
