Looking through the Cygnus code for the telnetd application server,
I can't find any support for systems that use a shadow password
file to allow standard telnet client users to log in.

Has anyone ported the Cygnus stuff to a host that uses shadow
password entries?

The Cygnus distribution compiles cleanly under Solaris 2.5, but most
Solaris systems are configured by default to use shadow password
entries.

Argh!!
