[6223] in Kerberos

I believe this has been up before but...
I'm trying to compile K5B5 on a plain solaris2.4 box with gcc2.7.0.
Most compilation works fine, except I have to add #include <fcntl.h>
in every other file. But linking is really bad. I have to include
/usr/ucblib and remove "-lndbm -lbdm" in every makefile and instead
add "-lsocket".
I have applied the latest (951031) pathes from achilles.ctd.anl.gov.
Can I count on with running Kerberos V5 on solaris2?
Do people out there run it? Did you have this much trouble building it
or am I doing something totaly wrong?
