Hello,

Sorry to post what I thought would be FAQ material. It's not in the
FAQ!

Hello,

I'm trying to setup inter-realm authentication between two kerberos
realms, FOO and BAR. On the kdc for realm FOO, i've created a principal
krbtgt.BAR@FOO and on the kdc for realm BAR i've created a principal
krbtgt.FOO@BAR. These two principals share the same password. I'm obviously
missing something in the protocol pertaining to "shared secrets", because the
above two additions to a single realm don't seem to be enough. Most of my
failures are of a "form krb_mk_req : can't decode authenticator". Does anyone
have advice for me?

Thanks in advance!

-bill
