I'm refining the use of Kerberos authentication in the CCSO Nameserver,
aka ph/qi, and would like to have the credentials exchange take place
in ASCII. Has anyone put together routines that have the functionality
of krb5_{send/recv}auth and krb_{send/recv}auth but which exchange
credentials in base64 rather than binary? This would be a generally
useful capability for adding kerberos authentication to other ASCII based
protocols.
