[5604] in Kerberos

Ok we now have our Xyplex machine and the Sun talking to each other
but when we try to test a kerberos login on our Xyplex machine we get
this error from kerberos on the xyplex machine
Xyplex> kerb veri
krb5kdc: ASN.1 encoding ended unexpectedly while dispatching
krb5kdc: ASN.1 encoding ended unexpectedly while dispatching
krb5kdc: ASN.1 encoding ended unexpectedly while dispatching
then it disconnects from xyplex.
Does anyone have any clue as to what could be causing this error?
