The kerberos FAQ lead me to believe that Bones does not
provide *any* authentication at all. Is this not the case?
All our application needs is the authentication of the user to
the server. It does not require encryption of messages between
client/server. Would Bones do it?

Also, I'm assuming that Kerberos uses the DES encryption libraries
to generate keys and encrypt the tickets and messages used for
authentication. So by stripping the DES libraries we would be
left with no authentication. Am I wrong here? Would Kerberos
with no DES libraries ( or Bones ) authenticate users via some other
means?

Thanks,

Tasha
