I have gotten the FAQ (users - I didn't find an administrators' version),
and read through it. It did not answer my question, nor have I seen it
asked or answered in the newsgroup within the expire time of articles on
this system.
We have a need to make one system on our net capable of using
Kerberos to interact with other systems outside our control. However, we
have too varied a mix of systems to consider converting everything to
Kerberos. (Some of our systems are not listed in the FAQ's list of
supported systems.) Also, we have a very large number of systems networked
here.
Will installing Kerberos on a single system within our net (both
client and server code) isolate it from our Kerberos-deprived systems?
E-mail or newsgroup replies are welcome. If there is interest
expressed, and I receive any e-mail replies (other than just "Please post
your summaries.", I will summarize to the newsgroup after about a week.
Thank you all
DoN.
