X11 Kerberos access control protocol?

I'm trying to get Kerberos access control to X11 working, and I've
gotten past the point where the client or the server dump core, but
I'm still not getting successful authentication, and I'm now in a grey
area where there appears to be no documentation: neither the old
protocol spec I have nor the PS XProtocol file that came with R6 seem
to document the protocol for two-way Kerberos authentication. All
the other X access control protocols are one-way, so these don't help.
Can anybody point me at a description of this protocol?
