John Linn: "Generic Security Service Application Program Interface"
	Proceedings of the 1990 USENIX Conference, Portland (Or), 1990

GSS is not a part of Kerberos, but has been implemented on top of
Kerberos, among other authentication systems such as KryptoKnight.
You'll find more about the subject in the above mentioned article.
