Hi.
From the error you are getting (time out of bounds) it looks like your
client and your server (either kdc or service servers) are time-skewed
by more than five (5) minutes. For example, if your kdc is at 12:00,
and your client is at 12:06, this would cause this error.
FYI: The rlogin service with V4 uses the "rcmd.hostname" key, not
"rlogin.hostname" as you have.
I assume you made login.krb to be /bin/login? At least, that is what
this looks like you have done. This program tries to verify your
authentication by trying to get the rcmd key for the host you are
logging into to verify it. If that key exists, but is not in the
srvtab, you are in trouble.
