Would that be a DEC terminal server running DECserver Network Access Soft-
ware, by any chance? There's a few oddities in DSNAS, including it passing
the option indicating a password should be checked against the local rules,
but then not passing the password, a bad length field, etc. Ideally, this
would be fixed in DSNAS, but since I had Kerberos sources, I fixed it there
instead. If you'd like diffs, I'll fish out the sources and mail 'em to you
- let me know.
On a related note, has anyone looked at the problem where kadmind only
listens on the first configured interface? I changed it to use INADDR_ANY (I
think that's the option, it's been a while now) and while it then listened
on both interfaces, the terminal server didn't like the resulting packets. I
suspect there may be a checksumming or other issue, but didn't pursue it (I
cheated and hacked the code to listen on the second interface, since that's
where all my terminal servers were 8-).
