I currently had Kerberos v4 installed on a SunOS 4.1.3_U1 system. The server
itself, kadmind, kinit, klist and kpasswd all seemed to work fine. I was also
able to use this server to authenticate user/password when logging on one of
our terminal servers. However, when changing the kerberos password under this
terminal server, it always return with the message

 "Password NOT Changed"

after I put in my old, new and verified passwords.

One observation I had from /kerberos/kerberos.log was that the initial request
for password change had reached the server. However, there was nothing shown
under the admin_server.log at all. On a successful password change (running
kpasswd on the kerberos server), I was able to see two messages in
the admin_server.log; one indicating an attempt of password change and
another about the change being successful.

Can someone spot anything obvious here?? If possible, I rather not
to trace the packets in between. Thanks...
