Hello everyone,
I have begun the journey of getting v5 compiled and running. To
begin I have, per instructions, to compile isode-7.0. I finally got it
working and then went back to the kerberos docs and saw that I need to apply
the pepsy-diffs, from the mysterious "our patches" (see about 20th line down
in BUILDING_IT). Where are "our patches" so I can go back and apply the
diffs and recompile the darn thing.
Now for the stupid questions:
1) What is isode? I looked thru the docs for some substantial
description, nd could not find any.
2) (This may be answered in q. 1) Why do we need isode
for kerberos?
3) Would you rate v5 easier to construct and get running than v4?
btw - I am running sunos4.1.3 on a sparcELC w/ the Jan 17 dist of v5b3.
Vale,
jase
