HI.
I hope this is the correct address to submit a note to the mailling list.
I have Kerberos setup and running on a Sun3 SunOS 4.1.1. I am using it for
athentication for our modem dialin lines using a Xyplex terminal server.
Everything works ok for users logging in and everything. But when the user
trys to change their password from the terminal server, they are prompted for
their old password and then their new one. They then get a message -
Password NOT changed. If I check the admin_server.syslog file the
following messages appear.
25-Jun-92 08:48:46 processing request: Kerberos error: delta_t too big
25-Jun-92 08:48:46 dlen read: Connection reset by peer
25-Jun-92 08:48:46 child 24881: termsig 0, coredump 0, retcode 3
Does anyone know what this means? I was successful at this when I first
brought up Kerberos. The one thing that has happened since then is that
we had some problems with the root file system on our Master Kerberos
server filling up. This problem has been fixed, but I still am unable to
get this to work.
Here is the output of when I tried to change my password from the Xyplex
terminal server.
xyplex> define port user kerberos password
Changing Kerberos Password for hjferrara.
Old Password:
New Password:
Retype New Password:
Password NOT changed.
Any help would be appreciated. I would have believed that it was a problem
with the Xyplex if I had not actually gotten it to work at one time.
-Thanks in advance
