Put IS logo files in is/templates/ directory?

I was wondering if we should put the Web files of the IS logo and IS logo
graphic element in the templates directory.
Right now they are at http://web.mit.edu/is/graphics/ along with a lot of
other graphics (some old or of unknown origin). It might be time to clean
up the graphics directory and then perhaps put it into the templates
directory.
Any thoughts on this? I can make it an agenda item at our next meeting on
Friday.
