Better late than never. Here's the draft message for IS staff. If possible,
you can send corrections/changes to me today? If not, we'll talk about it

For some time now, a team has been meeting to reorganize the Web pages for
Information Systems. The team is now ready to unveil a "developmental"
version of the pages, so that we can get feedback from IS staff on what
works and what can be improved. To view the new Web site, please go to:
http://web.mit.edu/is/dev
The focus of the team has been on structure and content rather than design,
though we believe the new look is workable for now.
Some of the documents in the IS Web tree are outdated; once the team
receives feedback on the pages as a whole, we will be contacting groups and
individuals to discuss areas that need updating. The team also plans to
turn its focus on maintenance issues, so please let us know if you have
concerns or suggestions on that score.
