From: Tom Owens <owens@MIT.EDU>

At the last elibdev meeting, we discussed the future role of elibdev.

It was decided that elibdev presentations would split into two groups:
elibdev itself would deal with technical issues aimed at programmers
and other developers. We discussed possible topics for future
meetings: post boolean searching algorithms, protocol presentation,
technical awareness.

Another group, not yet decided, will offer non-technical
demonstrations aimed at users and librarians. Examples of these
presentations: demonstrations of new systems, discussion of copyright
in the electronic environment, selection of networked information.

Elibdev will have an irregular schedule based on the topic of the
presentation. We will not plan a meeting for every first Friday at
noon.

thanks,
