I'm very happy to report that Tom returned to MIT territory on Saturday
and is now comfortable in the Inpatient Unit in the Medical Dept.
I visted with him this morning and he is in good spirits; he is
eating well, and is able to move around.
He is _very_ glad to be back, is _very_ thankful for everyone's good
wishes and hopes, and will be most happy to see you. Tom is unsure
how long he will be there before moving home; he believes that will
be after Thanksgiving.
He is in room 437 in the Inpatient Unit. He said that he welcomes
visitors, but that he does tire easily, so visits may be short if
he is feeling fatigued.
As we've witnessed many times, the sense of community and caring
for our colleagues makes the Institute a special place. This is yet
another wonderful example.
