Last week I received verson 2.0 (Oct. 21, 1992)of the TULIP description
and data structures; Appendix C of the document : "Internet delivery
through FTP" states, "Transmission of TULIP data over the Internet will be
carried out by a Unix based file server located at Engineering Information
in Hoboken New Jersey [home of Frank Sinatra].
It also sounds like EI will be distributing, pushing, the files out,
"For implementation by Engineering Information, these commands will be
executed by an application control program to automate data distribution
to each of the Universities."
I'm getting copies to Mitchell, Tim McGovern, and Tom Owens.
Thanks,
Greg
