Hi Alicia,
I wish I had been able to provide a more timely response :)
The MINK home page now resides at http://web.mit.edu/is/help/mink/
This gives a pointer to the installer, a link to a short discussion of
Kerberos ticket cache issues on Microsoft operating systems, and the sart
of a Kerberos FAQ for Microsoft operating system users.
At the moment mink.exe does not reside on an ftp server. We have still been
making some changes to it, some based on your feedback. Keeping it in AFS
for now allows us more rapid turn around time on updates. We will move it
onto net-dist soon. Even then the preferred pointer to hand out to users is
the URL above since that provides them with additional information.

Does the help desk encounter users that know how to use FTP but do not have
a web browser? If so how many? If you really are encountering this, the
information is important to a number of development efforts on campus and
should be communicated to itit@mit.edu.
