Regarding Alicia Allen's mail on problems with the Eduora 3.02 Installer
over Tether:
I know that the Eudora 3.0.2 installer has been successfully used over
Tether, using the "Easy Install" option. Marshall Vale tested it -
unfortunately he's not here so I'm not 100% sure of the configuration he
used, but I think it was somewhat different. I think it was on a PowerBook
3400/200 with 7.5.5, OT 1.1.2 and using OT/PPP.
Alicia used the "open" button in the Config PPP control panel to initiate
her PPP connection.
Further testing with non-OT/PPP (and non-Open Transport) setups is needed,
because most of the MIT community is not using OT/PPP and probably a lot
aren't using OT. I will test it with FreePPP 2.5 (and OT) this evening at
home.
