A few months ago, I had tested a pre-release of the new installer for Host
Explorer. I was especially interested in the new VBUD entry that was added
in hopes of eliminating the need for the serial connection from the PC to
the phone.
I tried my VBUD connection on the pre-release but it is unable to connect.
I do get a valid set of v4 tickets.... the host explorer shows a window
saying "resolving IP for vbmit.mit.edu" then disconnects. Any progress on
the new installer? Is there a new test version with VBUD?
The TCP port = 23 -- something I'm not sure of for this machine. All other
settings for the profile seem "normal" for VT type emulation.
