Looking at current and future PowerBuilder applications, there is a need to
distribute the run time PowerBuilder ddl's.
These PowerBuilder applications include:
COEUS, EPS, TQF, ROLES, BSR/Advanced, ADONIS Custom reports, Federal work
study, Graduate Housing, and Graduate Awards.
David Ho will be working on developing the Windows 95 and NT installer
versions of PowerBuilder. I am presuming we do not need Windows 3.11. If
this is not true, please let us know.
The goal is to place the installer on net-dist. The installer design will
ftp from net-dist a zip file of PowerBuilder dll's for installation. This
is the model that was used for the SQL*Net installer.
We will look at creating a PowerBuilder 5.04 version. This is the latest
version from PowerBuilder and should also work with applications developed
using version 5.02. This should at least meet the needs of COEUS and the
work from the Registrar's Office. If there are concerns about the
PowerBuilder version, please let us know.
David will be responsible for creating and testing the installer. See

installer with your application.
