Can somebody please check m11-113-2 and verify that is keyboard is
working correctly. If it isn't, try hitting alt-scroll-lock and see
if that rejuvenates it. If not, try rebooting, I guess. I don't
think this is a software problem, but I can't be certain.

Subject: rt 7.3P: release 7.4 login problem
Date: Fri, 26 Jun 92 09:07:09 EDT
System name: m11-113-2
Type and version: RTPC-ROMPC 7.3P << these are for the machine I'm
Display type: megapel << writing this on, and may not
<< be accurate for m11-113-2,
<< but superficially it looks the
<< same to me.
What were you trying to do?
Get from the "Welcome to Athena" screen to the username/password
screen on m11-113-2 (6/26/92 a few minutes before 9am).
What's wrong:
The "Welcome to Athena" screen looks proper; the time updates
accurately every second, and every so often the whole message
jumps to another part of the screen. However, pushing buttons
on the keyboard and playing with the mouse do not result in
the "Welcome to Athena" screen terminating and the username/password
login screen appearing.
What should have happened:
Use of the keyboard or mouse in previous athena releases and on
7.4 test machines I tried in W20-575 before it closed (test-3100
and w20-575-105, I think) caused the "Welcome to Athena" screen
to give way to the login screen.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
