Hello Alan,
DEC replaced the power supply on the ln03 simak in 38-344 and also
cleaned a heavily contaminated toner roller.
DEC has advised to replace the OPC belt (ie, basically a maint. kit)
and to replace the toner bottle AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!
The toner bottle is filled with toner up to the neck of the bottle
and within a day or two it will be overflowing. The consequences will
be that toner will backlog into the ln03 and into the motor. Any service
call placed due to this neglect will be billable.
Could you please please perform the routine preventive maintenance
as soon as possible.
