Subject: A Power Dip/Glitch

Please be advised that at approx. 2:00 p.m. on 1/30/92 some sort of power dip
took place. Physical Plant Operations Center had notified me via 1410, and
stated that a Physical Plant (Heat & Vent) man was on his way over to check
on the 1-115 facility. Several messages appeared on the 1410 V-Mail regarding
printer and workstation problems in the bldg. 1 area. My limited investigation
showed that it was an MIT Plant problem, and that a wrong switch was thrown.
If more conclusive info. is needed, Michael Taub, (Manager of Central
Utilities for Plant) can be contacted at X3-7299.
