Hi Ben,
In regards to changing your machine name, someone from Network Services
will be checking the locations of all the machines on 18.172 and
correcting the location names (as soon as all the moves are done on this
floor.)
If you can't wait until then, then you can request a non-location name.
(otherwise, your machine should still work, even thought the name
does not correspond to the location.)
