Here's what the global motd says:
*** Central NFS Server Update ***
'hecate', a central Athena NFS file server, will be out of service for
software updating on Tues Jan 7 from 9am until approximately noon. While
it is out of service, lockers that are stored on it will be inaccessible.
To find out where a locker is stored, use the command
hesinfo <locker> filsys
Here's additional info:
We don't expect that the outage will last until noon, but it could. After
Hecate gets updated to 7.3P, we will wait a week before updating the other
production NFS servers. I'll post the schedule in the motd, and send it
out via email.
