Hello,
I'm writing in reply to your call to hotline about restoring a file.
Please send the following information with your phone # to op@athena.
the entire path for the file: for example: /mit/user/athena_notes
We can't just look around for a file... we need to know
the full name of the file, in order to find it
approximately when the file was deleted: for example, "yesterday"
or "in early August"
approximately when the file was last known to be in a good state:
for example, "last week" or "in late July"
