The SAP print server FIBER was moved to a different building (and
upgraded) early Thursday morning. The new machine appears to be working
fine, but any printing oddness should be reported immediately to
bug-print@mit.edu.

The new fiber.mit.edu has a different IP address. To smooth the
transition, we added this new address in advance to the "IP acl" that many
SAP printers have. The change is unlikely to cause user problems. But,
if printing problems arise, you should be sure to run 'hpcheck -T
hostname-of-printer', and make sure the Access List (if it isn't blank)
has the entry "Host: FIBER.MIT.EDU Addr: 18.7.17.68". If this entry is not
present, please try rebooting the printer, and mention this when you
report the problem to ops.

Thank you!
