Hi,
Several days ago I reported a problem with pal-p.mit.edu, the print
server for the 38-600 cluster. Since then, the disk has been replaced
and formatted. On Thursday evening, we were told that Athena Ops was
coming in on Friday to install one last piece of software before the
server would be up and running again.
Right now, pal-p refuses all print requests with the following message:
Authentication failed. Use kinit and then try again.
I don't know if this is because that last piece of software hasn't
been installed, or if the software has been installed but something else
is missing...but I thought I'd let you know in any case.
