Dear Jeff - why is the 1st time I have heard about this from you and I have
sent out this notice at least 2 - 3 times.

I'll check with those who had planned this event and see what their
responses are and get back to you.
Thanks.
  Andrea

Importance: High

Hello Andrea,

We have events in our bldg. 66 classrooms on the 1st floor from Oct. 3 -
5. They go from 6pm Friday thru the entire weekend, not to mention many
other classes/events through the entire semester. The Oct. 3-5 event is
actually a "standing reservation" that is booked in our 66, 1st floor rooms
through the end of December. We have many such standing reservations
throughout the year that tie up so very many of our classrooms. We just do
not the available room inventory to switch them into for the semester and
they require a number of rooms that need to be close together.

Is there any way this can be postponed until after final exam week when the
students are gone?? I don't know whether they realize our classrooms are
very heavily booked day & night. We, unfortunately, are limited to the
classroom inventory allotted us and we just cannot place these people
elsewhere. I can certainly appreciate the importance of the work to be
done, however, I hope they can appreciate the position we're in with room
availability.

It's jobs like the asbestos removal work and other large, extended time
jobs that are a big scheduling problem for this Office. Please keep me
advised as to what is decided. Also, please feel free to forward this
e-mail to whomever need to read it.

I'll look forward to hearing from you. Thank you very much, Andrea.
