new printer for Ashdown?

Hi,
My name is Matt Guyton and I am a resident of Ashdown House. Due to the
large number of residents (total 360) who use the printers, they often
break down. We would like to have a 2nd printer to use as a backup.
We have one Athena printer. We also had our own extra Tektronix printer
that was part of a contract with Xerox. That contract has expired.
Because the printer was a lemon (always broken), we will not renew that
contract.
However, now we only have one printer. Would it be possible for us to get
a 2nd one, so that we aren't printerless when the one breaks?
Our Athena printer broke down about a month ago and residents have been
pretty upset about it. I'm not sure when hotline/Athena was informed, but
it was over a week ago (I realize that this is a busy time of the year).
In conclusion, we would really benefit from an additional printer to avoid
these disruptions in service.
