Yes. Local name resolution doesn't work, and I don't consider it
worthwhile to track down the problem for a machine that is running
3-year-old software and will be de-commissioned very soon.

I removed Straw from Trillian's resolv.conf.

Done, on Trillian, Castor and the 3 Hesiod servers. They now each
point to 3 other servers on the same subnet.
