Getting the addresses of dialup hosts by telnet'ing to relay.mit.edu
was never supported. Problems with unsupported services should
preferably be brought to the people responsible for them, when
possible, rather than hotline, ops, bugs, or any such Athena
user-support list.
When Relay was updated to 7.0, the telnet kludge to return addresses
(and a message about dialup service) was de-installed by the update
procedure. I put it back just now.
If you consider it important enough that this remedial nameserver
assistance exist (so people don't use the CPTs), we can give it a
more-supported status than what it has now.
In any case, it's there now.
