This Sunday morning, the athena.mit.edu database server
prill.mit.edu will be renumbered, moving it off of 18.70 (the old W20
building network) and onto 18.158 (a dedicated server network).

As of this Sunday's morning's AFS restart, prill's new IP
address will be 18.158.0.37. It's previous address, 18.70.0.6, will
continue providing AFS service for one week, until the AFS restart on
the morning of 2/17/2002.

If you have an Athena workstation that reactivates frequently,
no action is required on your part; your machine will pick up the
changes automatically. On Athena machines which do not reactivate
frequently (servers that do not run xlogin, or machines whose primary
users are always logged in on the console), you may wish to log in as
root and run:

/etc/athena/config_afs

sometime after Sunday's restart to pick up the changes.

Non-Athena machines running AFS will need to update their
CellServDB entry for the athena.mit.edu cell; the new entry will read:

>athena.mit.edu #MIT/Athena cell
18.7.1.66 #paris.mit.edu.
18.145.0.25 #agamemnon.mit.edu.
18.158.0.37 #prill.mit.edu.

As always, status notifications will be sent to the consult
instance as necessary.
