The slw, cview, and and version server dill will go down for a
software upgrade beginning at 1am on Thursday, 1/17/2002 beginning at
1am. The outage is expected to last approximately 3 hours.
slw (software license wrapper) service is replicated on minos,
and will be unaffected by this outage.
The version server (otherwise known as "TestTrack") will be
unavailable during the outage. Windows and Macintosh applications that
still use Testtrack may pause briefly during startup, but will still
start normally.
cview service will be unavailable during the outage as well; the
"cview" command will not work during this time.
As always, notifications regarding the status of the outage will
be sent to the consult instance.
