my new sunblade...doesn't work, hardware problem, please help

hi hotline,
  miki and i spent time with my new sunblade, and we think there is a 
hardware problem with it. we ruled out keyboard and monitor problems
(used the keyboard and monitor from her sunblade), and we ruled out
the prom level being the porblem (both mine and hers have the same prom
version, but her sunblade has no problem). so: can you look into what the
problem with mine is? if you take it and try to install athena software
on it, i think you'll be able to spot the problem.
  please let me know if you need additional details....the machine is so
new, it doesn't even have an mit property tag yet!
