Dear All,
Following is a memo we received from Beacon Construction concerning upcoming
work at the Stata Center near Bldgs 16 & 56.
As of Monday (28 Aug) afternoon, we will be sending you descriptions of work
projected for the upcoming week.
We are in the process of setting up an informational page on our project web
site that will provide continuous updates as to upcoming work on site.
In the mean time, we will keep you informed with as much advance warning as
possible via e-mail messages like this.

Dave,
To keep you informed of what is happening with the sewer work that Derenzo
is
doing along the north face of buildings 16 & 56, I'd like to tell you what
is
anticipated as happening on Monday. We will be digging in front of the
northwest entry of building 56 and so pedestrian traffic through this area
will
be eliminated for the day. We are going to place a jersey barrier in front
of
the doors so no one walks into the excavation. We will not be totally
blocking
the egress however. We are going to install some signs inside building 56
directing the pedestrians to the southeast exit (next to building 66) for
the
duration of the excavation. The northwest doors will be available for
emergency
exit only. We do not, in any way, want to eliminate these doors for
emergency
egress from the building, but want to restrict normal pedestrian traffic.
We
will also put a sign at the southeast corner of the pool building indicating
that there is no access to 56 & 16.
