The problem was that the cable that lifts one corner of the paper
tray was broken. Hence, the tray was not lifting and the printer was
not seeing a full tray of paper. Cannibalized the cable from the non-working
Tray 4 in the back room. Homer is up and running now.

This HP was reported having problems with tray 4. The tray is full, but the
printer sees it as empty. Have noticed a thin broken cable coming from the
right rear of the tray. Will need to be serviced.
