At approximately 12:32 pm a fire broke out in Building 2-040A.
The fire has been extinguished, however occupancy is still restricted at
this time. Power has been restored to Building 2, smoke is being
evacuated and water is being picked up. We anticipate that it will be
some time before occupancy is allowed.
For recorded updates on the situation, please call the Physical
Plant Emergency Information Hotline on 3-1300. If you need any further
information or need to speak to some directly concerning this situation,
please call the Physical Plant Operations Center on 3-4948.
