I'm about to put in an order for an HP 5si MX. Can anyone verify that
this printer will require the Duplex Unit optional accessory in order
for duplex printing to happen?

I agree that updating to 8.1 across the board would ultimately be a good
thing. To lessen potential problems, perhaps we could let the 8.1
upgrades to the other machines wait until the printer addition is
settled. But I'll leave that up to you; either way is fine w/me.

Yes, network configs are always the biggest problem since WHOI has it's
own class B address separate from MIT.
