Additional information re: yesterday's city water main break.
Water on much of the MIT campus is still discolored as a result of the
Cambridge water main break yesterday near the Necco candy factory.
The city is flushing the system this morning in an attempt to clear the
water as quickly as possible.
The Biohazard Assessment Office has been contacted and advised me that
the discoloration, although aesthetically unattractive, is not harmful.
